LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Two White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Auditorium Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: The NRC and STPNOC will discuss STPNOCs experience with the implementation of the August 3, 2001 Special Treatment exemptions.

CATEGORY 1:

  • This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.

1. STPNOC will describe its experience in the implementation of each of the exemptions issued as part of the Special Treatment action dated August 3, 2001 (ML011990368).

STPNOC will describe: (a) brief overview of exemption, (b) the implementation process including selection of in-scope structures, systems and components, (c) changes in reliability of structures, systems, and components as a result of selection process, and (d) need for corrective action, for each of the following exemptions:

2. Results of STPNOC self-assessment of Special Treatment exemption, implementation, and corrective actions taken.
