FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY (TVA) REGARDING THE EMERGENCY CORE COOLING SYSTEMS FOR BROWNS FERRY PLANT, UNITS 1, 2, AND 3 DATE & TIME: Thursday, October 2, 2003 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room O-10B6 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: To discuss TVAs proposed license amendment request regarding the number of emergency core cooling systems required in response to a potential loss-of-coolant accident, dated April 11, 2003, ADAMS Accession No. ML031050093 (see meeting agenda).

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
