SUBJECT:

DOCKET INFORMATION IN SUPPORT OF THE STAFFS REVIEW OF THE H. B. ROBINSON, UNIT 2, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (TAC NO. MB5226)

The purpose of this note is to docket copies of electronic messages I have received from Carolina Power and Light Company (CP&L) in reference to CP&Ls application for license renewal at H.B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant, Unit 2 and make them available to the public.

These messages contain information that the staff plans to rely upon in the discussions of terrestrial ecology, hydrology, and severe accident mitigation alternatives in the draft Environmental Impact Statement. Copies of these messages are enclosed.

(1) a draft version of the document Threatened and Endangered Species Issues Associated with Robinson Nuclear Plant Operating License Renewal, which outlines CP&L programs geared toward environmental stewardship.

(3) document entitled Endangered and Threatened Species.

(4) document entitled Migratory Birds.
