Attached is the Semiannual Fitness for Duty Performance Report for the period of January 1, 2008 through June 30, 2008, for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4, as required by 10 CFR 26.717(e).

The Turkey Point Fitness for Duty Program uses a random annual testing rate of at least 50%.

The attachment contains the program performance data, as well as, a list of events reported and a summary of any management actions taken.

  • One (I) individual was retested due to a St. Lucie issue where the thermometer used to determine temperature was past due for calibration. A condition report was written regarding this event.

  • Nine (9) of the positive drug tests for marijuana listed above exceeded the Florida Power and Light cutoff level (50ng/ml) but did not exceed the NRC cutoff level (1OOng/ml). All remaining positive drug test results exceeded the NRC cutoff levels.
    • One (1) individual tested positive for both marijuana and cocaine.
