SUMMARY

The FitzPatrick plant - with the exception of minor derates for rod adjustments - operated at or near rated power during the month of April 2002 except for the following:

 • April 15, 2002 - 0901 The plant commenced a load reduction to 98% power to support installation of monitoring equipment and clamping of the scoop tube on the 'B' Reactor Water Recirculation pump speed controls. The plant was returned to full power at 1035.
 • April 17, 2002-0355 The plant commenced a load reduction to 98% power to support restoration of 'B' RWR speed controls. The plant was returned to full power at 0432.
 • April 18, 2002 - 0821 The plant commenced a load reduction to approximately 70% power to support a scheduled control rod sequence exchange and main turbine control valve testing. Work was completed at 1357 and power ascension began at 1400. The plant returned to full power at 1720 on April 19. The total duration of this load reduction was slightly less than 33 hours3.819444e-4 days
0.00917 hours
5.456349e-5 weeks
1.25565e-5 months
.
