Areas Inspected:
Included a review of the licensee's actions and progress for implementation of the security program. Specifically, the following areas were reviewed: Management Effectiveness; Security Organization; Security Program Audit; Detection Aids - Vital Areas; Alarm Stations; Safeguards Contingency Plan; Special Nuclear Material of Low Strategic Significance; IE Bulletins and Licensee Actions on Previous Inspection Findings. The inspection involved one NRC inspector and the onsite inspection began during the day shift.
Results: One violation was identified involving two instances of an unlocked security door. Nine previous inspection findings were closed during this inspection. Until the security plan is fully implemented, the security program cannot be completely evaluated.
