Inspection Summary Inspection on January 1 through February 15, 1982 (Report No. 50-461/82-01(DPRP))
Areas Inspected: Routine, resident inspector's inspection of construction activities including material laydown and storage areas, program control, and
,
investigation activities in the electrical and welding areas. The inspection involved a total of 100 inspector-hours onsite by one NRC inspector, including 0 inspector-hours onsite during off-shifts.
Results: Of the areas inspected, no items of noncompliance or deviations were identified for this report.
Items of noncompliance in the aforementioned investigative areas will be included in Report No. 82-02.

Functional or Program Areas Inspected a.
Site Tours At periodic intervals during the report period, tours of areas of the site were performed. These tours were intended to assess the cleanliness of the site; storage conditiens of equipment and material being used in site construction; the potential for fire or other hazards which might have a deleterious effect on personnel and equipment; and to witness construction activities in progress, No items of noncompliance or deviations were identified.
b.
Electrical Stop Work A Region III team has been performing an investigation ant inspection in the area of electrical cable tray installation and related quality control inspection. The licensee issued a Stop Work in this area and Region III followed up with a Confirmatory Action Letter. The Resident Inspector has been assisting with the investigation. All items of noncompliance and deviation will be included in report 50-461/82-02.

Program Control At periodic intervals the inspector reviewed Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), change implemented Field Change Requests (FCRs),
selected audit findings, construction procedure revisions, Quality Control procedure revisions, and plant problems identi-fled by the licensee and contractor Baldwin Associates (BA).
The inspector attended selected weekly schedule meetings and startup/ turnover meetings.
No items of noncompliance or deviation were identified.
3.
Exit Meetings The Resident Inspector attended an exit meeting conducted by Region
'III personnel R. Knop and C. Norelius on January 22, 1982 and in addition the resident inspector met with licensee representatives (denoted under Persons Contacted) on January 8 and February 12, 1982.
The inspector summarized the scope and findings of the inspections performed at these meetings.
