Areas Inspected:
Routine, unannounced inspection of emergency procedures appraisal findings identified in NRC Inspection Report 50-458/84-34. The inspection involved 20 inspector-hours onsite by one NRC inspector.
Results: Within the one area inspected, no violations or deviations were identified.
Three significant findings were closed and 13 improvement findings were closed.
This leaves no significant findings and 16 improvement findings for followup in a future inspection.

The inspector determined that interfaces between the emergency planning group and the plant manager were adequate.

The inspector verified that the staff augmentation drill was conducted on October 2, 1985.
Results indicated that all Emergency Response Facilities were staffed promptly.

The inspector verified that 17 additional loud speakers had been installed and tested to ensure that personnel within the protected area would hear emergency warnings and instructions.
