Thank you for your letter dated January 26, 1981, informing us of the steps you have taken to correct the item of noncompliance which we brought to your atten-tion in Investigation Report No. 50-454/80-04; 50-455/80-04, forwarded by our letter dated December 30, 1980. With regard to Attachment B of your letter, we do not consier that the QA Manager of Systems Control Corporation (SCC) was adequately qw lified to act as a Level III in accordance with ANSI N45.2.6-1973 during the period of time covered by the investigation. During a telephone con-versation between Mr. J. Konklin of this office and Mr. G. Marcus of your staff on February 6,1981, Mr. Marcus stated that the conclusion of Attachment B is based on the present experience and training of the SCC QA Manager. We will examine your corrective actions during a subsequent inspection.
