Division of Radiation Safety and Safeguards SUMMARY Scope:
This routine, announced inspection was conducted in the area of Physical Security of Power Reactors. Specific areas evaluated were: Management

-Support; Security Program Plans; Protected Area Barriers; Detection Aids; I
Assessment Aids; Protected and Vital Area Access Controls; Alarm Stations and l
Communications; Testing, Maintenance and Compensatory Measures; and Security Training and Qualification.
Results:
In the areas inspected, one Licensee Identified Noncited Violation (93-07-01)
was identified. This noncited violation is discussed in Paragraph 2e. The security program has improved since the last inspection.
New equipment, improved facilities, and improved management and maintenance support was evident. The security force continues to implement the security program more than adequately.
