This refers to the inspection conducted by W. W. Stansbery of this office on

February 22-26, 1993. The inspection included a review of activities
authorized for your Brunswick Stream Electric Plant. At the conclusion of the -
inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff
I
identified in the report.
Areasiex& mined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas,'the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of

-activities in progress.

The. enclosed Inspection Report identifies activities that violated NRC
requireraents that will not be subject to enforcement action because the

licensee's efforts in identifying and/or correcting the violation meet the
criteria specified in Section VII.B of'the Enforcement Policy.

10 CFR Part 73.21 and its ~ disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited

by Section 147 of the Atociic Energy Act, as amended. Therefore, the material
