This routine, announced inspection was conducted in the areas of Physical

Security Program for Power Reactors, specifically:
Physical Barriers -
Protected and Vital Areas; Access Control - Personnel, Packages and Vehicles; Assessment; Compensatory Measures; Alarm Stations, Communications and Material Control and Accountability.
Results:
In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified.
l Inspection results confirmed that the security force continues to perform i
professionally and is capable of providing an acceptable level of protection

for vital resources and safety related equipment. Security force management and personnel performance were particularity notable.
The upgraded security system functioned well and improvement in the accountability of special nuclear material was noted.
