SUMMARY l
Scope:
,
o This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the areas of Management Support, Security Program Plans, Protected and Vital Area Barriers; Detection
and Assessment Aids, Protected and Vital Area Access Control of Personnel and
Packages Alarm Stations and Communication, Lighting, Compensatory Measures -
and Safeguards Information.
l Results:
i In the areas inspected, three violations and one non-cited violation were i
identified.

L Inspection results indicate that the Hatch Security Program continues to be effective in most aspects and the security organization appears capable of providing an acceptable level of protection for-the facility. However, in the

area of lighting, alarm assessment and compensatory measures the licensee had

failed to take necessary actions to correct lighting and alam assessment
deficiencies, even though security shift supervisors were aware of the lighting deficiency.
A non-cited violation was noted in the area of Safeguards
