This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the areas of Management Support, Security Program Plans, Records and Reports, Testing and Maintenance, Assessment Aids, Access Control - Personnel, Packages and Vehicles, Alarm Stations, Communications, Locks, Keys, and Combinations, Personnel Training and Qualifications - General Requirements.
Results:
In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified.
The licensee has taken aggressive action to correct previously identified violations and inspector follow-up items. Additionally, the HQ Nuclear Reactor Regulation Licensing Reviewer indicated that the Training Program was one of the most progressive he had observed.
The latest addition to the present excellent training facilities is the shoot no shoot pistol range, which the licensee has modified to provide realistic site specific shoot no shoot scenarios.
