Jones, Division Manager Production Operations 1623 Harney Street , Omaha, Nebraska 68102 Gentlemen: ( This refers to the special inspection conducted at the Combustion Engineering employment office in Windsor, Connecticut, by James Kelly of this office , during the period of May 4-5, 1982. The activities inspected were those authorized by NRC Operating License DPR-40.
It further refers to the dis-cussion of our findings with you and other members of your staff at the con-clusion of the inspection.
, The inspection related to your program and activities designed to protect against industrial sabotage and to safeguard special nuclear material. The inspection was based on the applicable provisions of Title 10. Part 50 of l the Code of Federal Regulations entitled " Licensing and Utilization Facilities," within Part 73 entitled " Physical Protection of Plants and ! Materials " and the specific requirements of NRC License DPR-40. Areas l examined during the inspection and our findings are documented in the i enclosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were identi-fied.
The documentation of findings of your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding special nuclear materials and your facility's security proce-dures are exempt from disclosure.
