Exit Interviews The inspectors conducted interim interviews during the inspection period and met with Mr. Tierney and other members of his staf f at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspector stated that there were two operational areas that appear to need improvement.
a.
Operating Logs - Although maintenance and content has improved, there have been instances where items or events have not appeared in operating logs where appropriate.
b.
Response to Annunciator Alarms - There have been two occurrences where operators did not promptly investigate the cause of an annunciator alarm. These were associated with special ventilation boundary doors and with a heat trace system trouble alarm.
The licensee acknowledged the inspector's comments and stated that supervisory attention would be increased in these areas.
