As requested by letter from W. E. Cline, NRC/Region II, subject as above, dated April 21, 1988, please find attached the Duke Power Company responses to the notice of violation These violations were identified by W. W. Stansberry, NRC/Region II on March 21 25, 1988, during the course of a routine NRC Safeguards Inspection at Oconee Nuclear Statio Violation number, 50-269/88-10-01, 50-270/88-10-01, and 50-287/88-10-01, addresses three (3) non-bullet resisting openings greater than ninety-six (96)
square inches not secured by grates, doors or cover Violation number, 50-269/88-10-02, 50-270/88-10-02, and 50-287/88-10-02, addresses an escorted individual which had been allowed access to the Protected Area with incorrect access authorization documentatio The attached material is applicable to the security provisions at Oconee Nuclear Station; therefore, Duke requests that this material be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 73.2 Very truly yours, rHIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS.
