50-259 5-1, 50-260/85-13, AND 50-296/85-13 Thank you for your response of August 2g, 1985, to our Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties, EA 85-51, issued on July 22, 1985, concerning activities conducted at your Browns Ferry facility.
We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201 with respect to the technical issues.
We understand that the management control problem discussed in our letter of July 22, 1985, will be addressed as part of your Operational Readiness Review Program prior to the restar t of any Browns Ferry Unit.
If your understanding is different, please advise this office immediately of your understanding.
We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
