NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-250/92-16 AND 50-251/92-16 Thank you for your response of September 15, 1992, to our Notice of Violation issued on August 18, 1992, concerning activities conducted at your Turkey Point facility.

Your response did not include all of the corrective actions to be taken.

As a result of a conversation between the NRC resident inspectors and your Hr.

Weinkam, Licensing Manager, on October 2, 1992, we understand that the following additional actions have been or will be taken:

Two-inch dikes have been constructed across the Rad-Waste building truck bay door floor and the floor threshold for the south personnel door to prevent outflow of fluid if a spill were to occur.

A surveillance procedure PPH-061. 1, Flushing of Drains, will be revised to include the flushing of the drains in the Rad-Waste building.

This will be accomplished by December 31, 1992.

No resin transfers will occur prior to the cleaning of the drain sumps to ensure proper operation of the drains.

We will examine the implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.
