3.0 Direct nhaarvation The inspector examined selected erwim. tal monitoring stations; l

l licensee by its contractor laboratories (Taladyne and Clean Harbors). 7hese data indicated that the contractors' results for the most part were in

%t s it with the EPA cross-check values. The inspector noted that where the results did not agree, reasons for the differences were investigated and the discrepancies were resolved.

The inspector also reviewed the analytical data generated by contractor laboratories for the split arvi sp1 Ped sanples. Generally good agreement was noted amorg the licensee's duplicate and spike sanples. The licensee

6.0 Meteorological Monitoring

'Ihe POSL has responsibility for the maintenance and calibration of the meteorological instrumentation except the wirx1 speed calibration. 'Ihe licensee has a centractor to perform the wind speed calibration.

Calibrations of the meteorological instrumentation are performed quarterly and the systen checks are performed weekly. 'Ihe inspector reviewed the follcwing w M.ims and the most rooant calibration results for wind speed, wind direction, arx1 temperature.
