The purpose of the meeting is to' discuss the methodology used by the

. applicant to classify systems, . structures, and components. The applicant will provide the staff with a description of the program it uses, along with specific examples, to accomplish the followi'ng functions:

1. The identification of systems which are important to safety.

2. The classificat-ion of those systems according to their relative safety significance.

i

3. The design ant development of an Operational Quality Assurance (0QA) program which matches the classes of systems.

i 4 The implementation of the 0QA. program. i The description of the program will include the basis and criteria used to determine the relative safety significance of the various structures, systems, and components.
