Via the references, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requested additional information for certain sections in the CPSES Security Plan. By this transmittal, TXU Generation Company LP (TXU Power) acknowledges the four referenced RAI letters. Previous correspondence from TXU Power has provided preliminary responses to referenced letters 1 through 4.

Based upon the tele-conference with you and NRC plan review personnel on August 25, 2004, TXU Power attained an understanding of specific information necessary for revision of our original responses to answer the RAI questions in referenced letter 4. This letter provides those follow-up responses as clarified in the tele-conference.

TXU Power's preliminary responses associated with the Contingency Plan portion of the Comanche Peak Security Plan (CSP) RAIs, are found in the attachment to this transmittal. This material is Safeguards Information.
