Dear Sir:
The purpose of this letter is to provide notification that the due date for an NRC commitment is being extended. In Reference 1, Florida Power Corporation (FPC) made the following commitment:
Appropriate Quality Assurance Program documentation for the HPI [High Pressure injection) pumps will be upgraded by August 31,1998, to reflect the current mission time.
In Reference 2, FPC stated that a revised due date for completion of the subject commitment would be submitted by September 8,1998. The revised commitment due date is November 10, 1998.
