Dear Sir:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you of a delay in meeting a Florida Power Corporation (FPC) commitment made in Attachment 1 of the referenced letter. FPC committed to provide the NRC with results of fire endurance tests of Mecatiss fire barriers, and our proposed bounding criteria, for NRC review by February 15, 1996. Delivery of the final test reports from Underwriters Laboratories was l delayed, and FPC has not had sufficient time to complete our internal reviews, necessitating this delay.
FPC will provide a complete set of test reports and our bounding criteria for NRC -
Staff review, to be maintained as proprietary, and non-proprietary versions for placement in the Public Document Room. We will provide these by April 1, 1996. !
