Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Update Report - Drywell Floor Drain Sump Level and Flow Monitoring Leak Detection System Declared Incperable LER 83-180/03 X-1 AECM-84/0077 This 1ctter submits an update to a previous report submitted on December 7, 1983. The event for which the report was submitted occurred on November 7, 1983, when the drywell floor drain level and flow monitoring leak detection system was declared inoperable when the level and flow rate indication dropped downscale following a pump down of the sump. A Limiting Condition for Operation was entered pursuant to Technical Specification 3.4.3.1. This was reported pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.13.b.

Our investigation into the cause of the eve.t is complete. Attached is LER 83-180/03 X-1 which is a final report.
