Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2 BV-1 Docket No. 50-334, License No. DPR-66 BV-2 Docket No. 50-412, License No. NPF-73 Request for Regulatory Conference (EA-1 3-133)

By letter dated August 8, 2013, the NRC transmitted Inspection Report 50-334/2013201 and 50-412/2013201 for Beaver Valley Power Station (BVPS) Units 1 and 2. In the inspection report, the NRC identified a finding that has been preliminarily determined to be greater than green significance. The letter provided FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) with the opportunity to request a regulatory conference or submit the FENOC position in writing.

FENOC appreciates the opportunity to meet with the NRC on this issue and by this letter requests a regulatory conference to present FENOC perspectives on the facts, assumptions and significance regarding the proposed finding. This request was also verbally communicated to Mr. Robert C. Johnson on August 14, 2013.
