| Title | Failure to Report a Loss of Emergency Capability |
| Description | An apparent Severity Level III violation was identified for failure to notify the NRC of a major loss of emergency assessment capability identified on October 18, 2011, as required by 10 CFR 50.72(b)(3)(xiii). The licensee failed to identify that these deficiencies adversely affected the licensees ability to project offsite dose during a radiological event and therefore constituted a major loss of emergency assessment capability. The failure to report was evaluated using the NRC Enforcement Policy and was determined to be an apparent Severity Level III violation because it was associated with a Reactor Oversight Program issue of low to moderate safety significance (White). This issue has been entered into the licensees corrective action system as Action Requests AR00244578, Revision 2, AR00244838, and AR00264998 |
