This letter provides Indiana Michigan Power Company's (l&M), the licensee for Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant (CNP) Units 1 and 2, response to the Request for Additional Information (RAI) by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRG) regarding a License Amendment Request (LAR) to revise Emergency Action Levels (EALs).

By Reference 1, l&M submitted a request to revise the CNP EALs. By Reference 2, the NRG transmitted an RAI regarding the LAR submitted by l&M in Reference 1. A telephone conference was held between NRG staff and l&M on October 24, 2017, to clarify the information requested.

Enclosure 1 to this letter provides an affirmation statement. ~nclosure 2 to this letter provides l&M's response to the RAI contained in Reference 2. Enclosure 3 to this letter provides a clean copy of the revised EAL Technical Basis Manual (Revision 0). Copies of this letter are being transmitted to the Michigan Public Service Commission and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91.
