1. Pre-Examination I acknowledge that I have acquired specialized knowledge about the NRC licensing examinations scheduled for the week(s} of _Davis Besse NPS 6/3/2013 through 6/14/2013

I agree that I will not knowingly divulge any information about these examinations to any persons who have not been authorized by the NRC chief examiner.

I understand that I am not to instruct, evaluate, or provide performance feedback to those applicants scheduled to be administered these licensing examinations from this date until completion of examination administration, except as specifically noted below and authorized by the NRC (e.g., acting as a simulator booth operator or communicator is acceptable if the individual does not select the training content or provide direct or indirect feedback}.

Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 Docket Number 50-346, License Number NPF-3 10 CFR 55 Submittal of Post Examination Materials in Support of Recently Completed Initial License Operator Examinations Enclosed are the post examination materials for the initial licensed operator examinations that were administered during the week of June 10, 2013. The enclosed items are being submitted to the NRC for review and approval in accordance with 10 CFR 55.40, "Written Examinations and Operating Implementation" and NUREG 1021, Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors (Revision 9, Supplement 1 ). 419-321-7676 Fax: 419-321-7582 After the Written Examination was completed, the Applicants participated in a review session to determine if enhancements to the questions were necessary.

Results of this review indicate several questions should be evaluated for enhancements (Questions 1, 15, 17, 35, 39, 41, 42, 43, 47, 49, 53, 60, 73, 77, and 85) prior to reuse. These questions are being tracked by Notification 600840344.

Post-exam analysis indicates three potential generic training program weaknesses (Questions missed by 50 percent or more of the Applicants; Questions 2, 57, & 96). Investigations of these potential generic weaknesses are being tracked by the Corrective Action Program (CR 2013-09027).

When Form ES-201-3, Examination Security Agreement, has been completed, it will be forwarded to you, thus completing the necessary documentation for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 Initial Licensing Examination.

There are no regulatory commitments included in the submittal.
