Enclosed for your information is a final report entitled "Results of Reconnaissance Evaluation of Hazardous Chemical Migration in Ground Water in the Vicinity of Two low-level Radioactive Waste Disposal Facilities."

This report describes results from January 1985 sampling at the Sheffield facility and results from May 1985 sampling at the Barnwell facility. This report has been prepared by Oak Ridge National Laboratory as part of an on-going effort by NPC to study the chemical constituents that may be associated with low-level radioactive waste.

This report was prepared as an account of work sponsored by the NRC. No warranty is implied by the NRC for responsibility for use of any information disclosed in this report. The views expressed in this report are not neccessarily those of the NRC.
