ENCLOSURE 2 NOTICE OF DEVIATION University of Virginia Docket No. 50-62 Pool Reactor Facility License No. R-66 The- following deviation was identified during an inspection conducted on July 22-26,1985.

The University of Virginia stated in a letter to the USNRC Region II dated February 20, 1985, that an audible rate indicating survey meter has been purchased to replace the previous survey meter and that full compliance with NRC requirements had been achieved.

Contrary to the above, although the audible rate indicating survey meter had been purchased, the previous survey meter had not been replaced in accordance with the commitment. This deviation existed from February 20, 1985, until July 26, 1985.

Please provide, in writing within 30 days of the date of this Notice, a description of corrective actions regarding this deviation, actions taken to avoid further deviations, and the dates when these actions were or will be completed.

Security or safeguards inforn:ation should be submitted as an enclosure to facilitate withholding it from public disclosure as required by 10 CFR 2.790(d) or 10 CFR 73.21.
