APPLICANTS' MOTION TO RESCHEDULE ORAL ARGUbENT Project Management Corporation, for itself and on behalf of the United States Department of Energy and the Tennessee Valley Authority, (the Applicants), hereby file this Motion to Reschedule Oral Argument. In support of this Motion, the Applicants state the following:

1. The Appeal Board's August 29, 1983 Order set oral argument on the Appeal of NRDC et al. for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 1983. The undersigned, who will present the oral argument for l the Applicants, has a longstanding prior business commitment on September 29, 1983, which presents an irreconcilable conflict with the scheduled oral argument.

2. The undersigned has consulted with counsel for NRDC et al.

(Intervenors) and the NRC Staff, and both have authorized the undersigned to state that they have no objection to rescheduling the argument for September 28, 1983.

Wherefore, Applicants respectfully request that the oral argument be rescheduled for Wednesday, September 28, 1983.
