Facilities: Oyster Creek Generating Station Docket No(s). 50-219 Time and Date: May 15, 2008 Information Session 5:30pm Public Meeting 7:00pm Location: Oyster Creek Emergency Operating Facility 1268 Route 37 W Toms River, NJ 08753 Purpose: The NRC requested an Annual Assessment Meeting with AmerGen management to discuss NRCs assessment of the safety performance of the Oyster Creek Generating Station for calendar year 2007 as described in the Annual Assessment Letter dated March 3, 2008 (see below).
AmerGen management will be given the opportunity to respond to the information in the letter and inform the NRC of new or existing programs to maintain or improve their performance. The NRC will also be available to engage interested stakeholders on performance of the plant and our role in ensuring safe plant operations.

2 Public Participation: This is a Category 1 Meeting. The Public is invited to observe this meeting and will have the opportunity to communicate with the NRC staff following the business portion of the meeting. Several NRC representatives will also be available for an information session at 5:30 pm prior to the Annual Assessment Meeting with AmerGen. The information session is being provided to maximize discussion with the public to ensure their issues and concerns may be presented, understood, and considered by the NRC.
