Purpose:
The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will meet with the public to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station for 2015, as described in the annual assessment letter dated March 2, 2016. The NRC will respond to questions on plant performance and our role in ensuring safe plant operations.
NRC Attendees: D. Pelton, Deputy Director, Division of Reactor Projects S. Kennedy, Chief, Division of Reactor Projects, Branch 6 A. Patel, Senior Resident Inspector E. Andrews, Resident Inspector Public Participation: This is a Category 3 Meeting. The NRC will provide a short presentation, and then host a question and answer session during which members of the public will have an opportunity to ask questions or make statements in a traditional public meeting format.
