RE: MPS3 RR IR-3-10 Clarification Hi Carleen I do concur that the distance of 2.26 inches (distance for the center of the reactor vessel hot leg nozzle-to-safe-end weld to the center of safe-end-to-pipe weld) in the response to RAI#1 is the as-built distance.

Thanks Mohamed A. Elmaghrabi Millstone Licensing Ph: 860-444-4353 Tie: 8-759-4353 Fax: 860-437-5901 E-mail: Mohamed.A.Elmaghrabi@DOM.com From: Sanders, Carleen [1]

Mohamed, Thanks for getting back to me. My understanding is that the response provided to RAI 1, the distance for the center of the reactor vessel hot leg nozzle-to-safe-end weld to the center of safe-end-to-pipe weld is the as-built distance.

Thanks!
