- 1) The containment pressure detector testing (TS 4.17.1 #12 & 4.17.3 #1 b&c) will not become due until after the start of the upcoming refueling outage. 2) Calibration of the containment atmospheric radioactive gas monitor (TS 4.17.6 #7.b) can be accomplished with the plant operating.
That calibration has been completed.
- 3) The Channel Functional Testing of the boric acid tank low level alarm switches (TS 4.17.6 #14) will be completed as scheduled.
Therefore, deferral of those surveillance requirements is no longer needed and the request for their deferral is hereby withdrawn.
In addition, one of the proposed pages submitted on February 10, 1995 was subsequently revised by the issuance of Amendment 163 to the Palisades Facility Operating License. The changes proposed in this change request have been added to the amended pag.e. Attachment 1 to this letter contains a complete set of updated proposed pages with the one amended page and the unnecessary deferrals omitted from the remaining pages.
