1. NRG letter to Entergy, "Confirmatory Action Letter -Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station," dated August 2, 2017 (ML 17214A088)

Dear Mr. Lew:

2. Entergy letter to NRG, "Notification of Changes to Comprehensive Recovery Plan," dated August 9, 2018 On August 2, 2017, the NRG transmitted the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS) Confirmatory Action Letter (CAL) (Reference
1) which confirmed the actions PNPS planned to take in accordance with our Comprehensive Recovery Plan (CRP). Based on ongoing review, PNPS identified that CRP action changes were appropriate.

Notification of these changes to the CRP was provided to the NRG pursuant to the CAL in a letter dated August 9, 2018 (Reference 2). Subsequently, during the CAL inspecti9n, additional information was requested by the NRG relating to the timing for actions to mitigate an identified single point vulnerability (SPV). As a result, after further review, PNPS has concluded that one of the items should not have been included in the CRP because the SPV had previously been mitigated:

This effects CAL item ER-3.2. ER-3.2 is one of the nine proposed changes or clarifications to the CAL that NRG is reviewing during this CAL inspection.

Accordingly, a clarification to ER-3.2 is provided in Attachment
