This refers to your October 11, 1985 application, for renewal of your Quality Assurance Program for Radioactive Material Packages, Approval No. 0192. l Enclosed is a copy of revised 10 CFR 170, which became effective June 20, 1884. I Please notice 5170.31, fee Category 10F, which specifies fees for applications l for Part 71 quality assurance approvals, includin9' renewals and amendments thereto. Applicants in fee Category 10F pay an initial application fee of

$150 and are subsequently billed at six-month intervals for all accu:nulated NRC costs or upon completion of the review, whichever occurs sooner f The total fee assessed will be based on the actual NRC cost (professional staff-hours) to process the application as well as any contractual cost incurred.

Based on the above, please remit an application fee of $150 and mail it to oly attention. If you have any questions concerning the fee, please let me know. ,
