Application for renewal of Approval No. 0192 for the 10CFR71, Subpart H, QA system utilized by PNSI/NUPAC.
Dear Mr,
MacDonald:
As we have discussed in our telecons, this letter is forwarded to your office to request renewal of the existing approval No. 0192 for the Nuclear Packaging, Inc. QA system.
As you know, the Nuclear Packaging, Inc. 10CFR71, Appendix E,
QA system was issued Approval Number 0192 on 9/12/80.
It was up-dated to reflect Subpart H and issued Approval 0192, Rev 1 on 9/3/83. The current approval will expire on December 31, 1985.
There has been a change in the corporate structure since the original approval.
The corporation under which Nuclear Packaging operates is now Pacific Nuclear Systems, Inc.
The general organ-
- ization, reporting relationships, and activities of Nuclear Packaging, Inc. have not changed. The QA system pertaining to Approval No. 0192 has been implemented throughout Pacific Nuclear Systems, Inc.
The attached revised synopsis of the QA System addresses the original NUPAC QA System as it now exists for Nuclear Packaging, Inc. and Pacific Nuclear Systems, Inc.
Because of the change in corporate structure, please issue the renewal of Approval No. 0192 in the name of Pacific Nuclear Systems / Nuclear Packaging.
