Schedule UpdateTerry - I've been working on the Diablo Canyon schedule change and the accompanying letter, which we will release by COB tomorrow (Thursday).

Here's the update:

- Draft SEIS will be scheduled for May (new schedules will no longer list a particular day of the month). This a result of the SAMA review needs and a balancing of internal workloads to support the draft SEIS review. I know this is later than we discussed when we spoke in late January, but we'd rather avoid issuing another schedule change in the near future because other division workloads are high March to April. The draft SEIS comment meeting will either take place in June or July, depending on when in May the SEIS is issued.

- The Final SEIS will be scheduled for January of 2012.

- License Renewal Decision date will change to TBD to reflect ongoing adjudicatory hearings. Staff has no control over the Commission's decision or the ASLBP's hearing process, so we removed the May 2012 date from the schedule. I fielded many questions related to the Commission decision date on the schedule, and I have found that the published date typically confused people.
