TVA will provide a description of how safe shutdown is ensured foreach scenario by August 20, 2010."TVA fulfilled this commitment by the submittal of Revision 0 of the WBN Unit 2 MultipleSpurious Operation Evaluation, Report R1 976-20-01, dated August 2010, via Reference 2 andmade the following commitment:

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory CommissionPage 2February 7, 2013"The resolutions contained in Appendix B of the MSO Evaluation Report shall beimplemented prior to Unit 2 fuel load."One purpose of this letter is to provide Revision 2 of Report R1 976-20-01. The updated reportis provided in Enclosure 1, and a summary of the changes to the report is provided inEnclosure 2.The commitment made in Reference 2 (listed above) regarding the resolutions contained inAppendix B of the MSO Evaluation Report remains valid, and it is TVA's intent to confirm thefulfillment of the commitment as part of the submittal of the as-constructed version of thedual-unit Fire Protection Report (FPR). TVA's commitment for the submittal of the as-constructed FPR was made in Reference 3.The second purpose of this letter is to provide an update to the list of Fire Protectioncommitments previously submitted via Reference 4. Provided in Enclosure 3 is an updatedversion of the list provided in Reference 4 which identifies only the outstanding long-termcommitments. This list reflects the wording of each commitment as it was submitted to NRC.However, for this group of commitments, completion of each commitment is required for thedevelopment of the as-constructed FPR which TVA committed to provide by October 15, 2014,in Reference 3.The new regulatory commitment made in this letter is listed in Enclosure 4.
