REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON PROPOSED INDIRECT TRANSFER OF CONTROL OF LICENSES FOR THE ZION NUCLEAR POWER STATION UNITS 1 AND 2 (TAC NOS. J00465 AND J00466)
By letter dated January 10, 2013, Zion Solutions submitted a request for approval of an indirect transfer of control of licenses for Zion Nuclear Power Station Units 1 and 2. Please
review this request and provide a safety evaluat ion of the proposal. The licensee has requested an expedited review of this request to support financial commitments associated with this
proposal. In view of the urgency of this request I request that the review be assigned to Mike
Dusaniwskyj, if he is available, as he reviewed a recent license transfer for this facility and he is
very familiar with the financial issues for this lic ensee. An electronic copy of the submittal will be provided to the reviewer on request.
