REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON LICENSE TERMINATION PLAN FOR THE ZION NUCLEAR POWER STATION (TAC NOS. L53045 AND L53046)
By letter dated December 19, 2014, ZionSolutions, LLC submitted a request for approval of a License Amendment to add a License Condition that approves the License Termination Plan (LTP) and adds a license condition that establishes the criteria for determining when changes to the LTP require prior the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approval.
Please review this request and provide a safety evaluation of the proposal. Karen Pinkston has participated in several pre-submittal meetings with the licensee so the review may be expedited if she is available for the review. An electronic copy of the submittal will be provided to the reviewer when assigned.
