5.0 Instructions

'3 p

5.1 Immediate Automatic Actions 5.1.1 On a low primary water pump discharge pressure of 85 psig, the Standby pump will start.

5.2 Immediate Operator Action 5.2.1 On a low header pressure situation, verify that the Standby pump has started and the system pressure has returned to normal.

5.2.2 If the Standby pump did not start, start manually and investigate the failure of the Auto Start feature.

5.3 Subsequent Operator Actions 5.3.1 Low Header Pressure Condition

a. Investigate the cause of the low pressure condition and correct,
b. When Normal System Pressure is restored, return the second primary water pump to standby lineup.

5.3.2 On a Primary water tank level problem, take appropriate action to return the tank to normal.

5.3.2.1 High Level-

a. Discontinue water transfer operations if in progress.
b. Discontinue filling from WTP.
c. Insure filland bypass valves are closed.

5.3.2.2 Low Level
