UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION WASHINGTON, D.C. 20555-0001 October 17, 2016 Mr. Joseph W. Shea Vice President, Nuclear Licensing Tennessee Valley Authority 1101 Market Street, LP 3R-C Chattanooga, TN 37402-2801
SUBJECT:
SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 - CORRECTION TO LICENSE AMENDMENT TO REVISE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR ESSENTIAL RAW COOLING WATER SYSTEM ALLOWED COMPLETION TIME (CAC NOS. MF7450 AND MF7451)
Dear Mr. Shea:
On September 30, 2016, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Amendment No. 336 to Renewed Facility Operating License (RFOL) No. DPR-77, and Amendment No 329 to RFOL No. DPR-79, for the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, respectively. The amendments consisted of changes to the RFOLs and Technical Specifications (TSs) in response to your application dated March 11, 2016, as supplemented by letters dated May 31, and July 22, 2016.
These amendments revised the TSs for Essential Raw Cooling Water System Allowed Completion Time.
After issuance, it came to our attention that TS page number 3. 7.8-2 for Unit 2, was incorrectly numbered. Please replace the incorrect page with the enclosed corrected page.
J. Shea Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions, please call me at (301) 415-8480.
Sincerely, Afi-- Ji-_
