Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure Revisions In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q) and 10 CFR 72.44(f), the Tennessee Valley Authority is submitting a description of changes to the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant (SQN)

Radiological Emergency Plan. The affected documents, and current revision level, are the SQN Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures (EPIPs) listed below.

It was determined that the changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan. Details of the revisions are included in the enclosure.

Recreated the protective action recommendation (PAR) tables in Attachment 1 and 0. Added Recommendations 6 and 7 to align with Central Emergency Control Center (CECC) EPIP-1 Rev. 79.

Updated PAR Chart in Attachment 8 to align with CECC EPIP-1 Rev. 79.

Added notes/steps to the procedure to ensure NRC is notified of PAR upgrades within 1 hour1.157407e-5 days <br />2.777778e-4 hours <br />1.653439e-6 weeks <br />3.805e-7 months <br /> and to ensure accurate PAR information is communicated to the NRC.

Added bullet to the NRC Coordinator operational responsibilities to ensure NRC is notified of all declarations and PAR upgrades.

Updated descriptions of responsibilities for the Technical Support Center (TSC)
