Section 3.1 of the BSEP exigent amendment also states that a temporary diesel generator system has been provided as additional defense-in-depth. The temporary diesel generator system consists of two 480 V, 2000 kw diesel generators with synchronization capability that can be tied into the 4160 V electrical 2distribution system connections at the SUPP-DG electrical enclosure. Existing approved station procedures and flow charts direct the connection of the SUPP-DG to a 4160 V emergency buss and Section 3.2.3.4, "Safety Margin," confirms that the required connections can be accomplished in one hour. In order to credit the above temporary diesel generator system for the PRA review, please confirm that the work instructions for aligning the temporary diesel system to the BSEP electrical distribution system support completion of this activity in one hour.
