Dear Mr. Goller:

t In accordance with Mr. Skovholt's letter.of October 1,1973, con-cerning periodic inspection of hydraulic shock absorbers (snubbers), an inspection of all snubbers outside of containment was completed on October 3,1975.

All snubbers were considered operable at this inspection. Fluid was added to one safety related unit. Leakage was indicated from this Bergen-Paterson unit at the accumulator piston seal. Surveillance will be i

increased on this unit until plant conditions will facilitate its repair.
