Inspection of Hydraulic Shock Absorbers (Snubbers)
R. I:. Ginaa Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No.1 Docket No. 50-244
Dear Mr. Goller:
In accordance with Mr. Skovholt's letter of October 1,1973, concerning periodic inspection of hydraulic shock absorbers (snubbers), an inspection of all snubbers, noth inside and cutside of containment, was conducted on Junc 19 and.10,19/ t / c:at:cr maintenance perconnel.

A small quantity of fluid was added to tivo of the Bergen-Paterson snubber accu:r.ulators outside the containment. All snubbers were considered operable at this inspection.
During an outage on June 21, 1971 through June 26, 1974 these two units as well as a third unit were replaced or repaired. Plans for this action were stated in our letter to you dated June 10, 1974.
