Inspection of Hydraulic Shock Absorbers (Snubbers)
R. E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No.1 Docket No. 50-244
Dear Mr. Goller:
In accordance with Mr. Skovholt's letter of October 1,1973 concerning phrlodic inspection of hydraulic shock absorbers (snubbers), an inspection of all snubbers, both inside and outside of containment, was completed on June 20,1975.
All snubbers were considered operable at this inspection. No units on safety related systems exhibited leakage or required fluid addition. One Grinnell unit on a non-safety related system exhibited fluid reservoir gasket leakage, and required fluid added. Repair of this unit will follow receipt of necessary spare parts, which are on order.
